September 18, 2012: 500 miles of driving today. Headed southwest through Terre Haute to Charleston, IL where I stopped at Old Main on EIU’s campus to see Stacia and Christy. After that it was off to Springfield. As soon as I hit town, “THE SIMPSOOOOOOOONS” clouds rolled in. It cracked me up to see :) Straight to Memorial where my dad had an outpatient surgery (all is good!), and then back on the road to get home before the girls went to bed. Played our hearts out for about 20 minutes until we were all sufficiently exhausted, and called it a day.
