June 28, 2014: Davis Family Reunion in French Lick! What an incredible place - never woulda thought in a million years! Beautiful hotel, great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back in a future year! 

June 27, 2014: It’s Reunion time! Arrived in French Lick for the weekend… home of Larry Bird.

June 26, 2014: A visit to cameronsprinkle at Genesis Carmel tonight to pick up a hard drive of photos. The girls always love seeing Uncle Cam!

June 25, 2014:  Made a ‘water tub’ for the girls last night for the times they want to play in the water and Jen doesn’t want to take them both to the pool :) Couple of different hose bibbs, some spray action, and a pump to run it all.  They really like it so far, I hope they will continue to play with it and not get bored! :) 

June 24, 2014: So I didn’t realize that the dry ice from our ice cream delivery was supposed to be OUTSIDE to thaw.  Over-co2’d the house which drove Bella bonkers. Sorry Bellz.

June 23, 2014: Date night! Jen hadn’t shot our 9mm yet so we went to the gun range. She did really well! Afterwards we continued our tradition of finding a local joint on Yelp. Ended up at Sandwich Machine and had a delicious sub.. incredible bread!

June 22, 2014: Back home after 5 long and quick days at home. Em crawled into her bed and said “Daddy…. it sure is nice to be back in my bed.”  Amen, sister. #crashed

June 21, 2014: Last trip to PU for lunch and then off to Springfield to see B and Jake! Jake and I ended up playing ping pong until midnight. Probably could have went longer, it seemed like every one of our games was down to the wire! 

June 20, 2014: Caught a frog out by the hot tub last night and saved it for the girls in the AM.  They enjoyed watching it hop around! Such a little guy. Busy day from here out, shooting the wedding + reception.

June 19, 2014: Rushville! The girls absolutely love it here. So much to see and do! Whenever we come home we have nothing to do, and it’s fantastic.  We sit on the porch, play in the yard, eat pizza, and repeat. So relaxing :) 

Cameron and Karissa made the drive over tonight so that Cam and I can shoot a wedding tomorrow! But first, they had to get indoctrinated into the Pizza U club. I think they did a great job with their pizza and cheese stix! :)

June 14, 2014: Field Trip Friday… a day late. We went to Spencer’s Berry Farm for some fresh strawberry pickin’. Brought home about 20 lbs to eat, freeze, and make jam!  Em was being a stinker today and refused to pick berries, so A takes the spotlight for this update :)

June 13, 2014: Cookout / Reunion with our WRCC small group!  I got to try out the new smoker (Happy Father’s Day!) with a 13lb turkey. It came out amazing and delicious! Next up, pulled pork and ribs. Jen told Em yesterday that she couldn’t get anything from the ice cream truck but “maybe tomorrow when all your friends are here”… not thinking that the ice cream truck would actually come by. Well, it did. And we bought. :)  Smores with the Daddy’s, a little Kan Jam and some more fireside chillin’ to end the night.  What a terrific evening with great friends.
