March 31, 2013: Happy Easter! So thankful today as I’m reminded of the forgiveness of our sins when Jesus went to the cross. We had a leisurely morning, brunch and an indoor easter egg hunt (this year’s weather is quite a bit behind last year!) Another enjoyable day of hanging out with family.  Does the weekend have to be over already?

March 30th, 2013: Let the Easter weekend festivities begin! Jen’s family came over and we went to the Saturday service to save room for guests and others in the Sunday services.  We came back to the house for a delicious feast and just hung out in the family room chatting until nearly midnight.  Great Saturday.

March 29, 2013: The sprouts are coming up from the dirt and soon it will be time to start the garden outdoors! Can’t wait to get out there.

Em had her 25th day of ‘clean and dry’, earning her 25th sticker on the Potty Chart! Jen set up a little ‘party’ with her friends Monkey Ward, Eli and Violet, and she got her new toy for making it to #25.  Great job Em!  Today she leans over to me and says… “Daddy… you don’t make any stinkies in your big girl undies either, ok?” You got it, girl :)

March 28, 2013:  G MONEY! Had a fun night with Baby G while Justin and Jordi went out. Annelise had a blast with him.

March 27, 2013: We’re all ready for the snow to leave.

March 26, 2013:  Went outside to play with Em during lunch.  We couldn’t find her gloves…. so these socks had to do. We went sledding through the woods and down the hill. Made one snowman strictly to destroy, and another 4-story snowman with Em. Easily the best snowman snow I’ve ever seen.  We made each of these in under 10 minutes. Crazy!

March 25, 2013: Well… the snow came.  Ended up at 12”.  Had a visit from Emelyn’s friend and mommy this afternoon, which was nice.  Elliott, Clay, Justin and I decided to go for some night sledding.  This snow is so thick and wet, I think a snowball fight would have been the better choice!

March 24, 2013: Lunch with B and Jake after church, then off to Basketball League! We lost in the championship and ended up 8-2 on the season.  Great time with these guys.  We’re losing 7 of the 12 of us. Jen and the girls came to our game, and Em got to see Cameron.

March 23, 2013: Got our garden started indoors, and spent some time outside before this snow storm arrives… They’re calling for 8+” tomorrow! Yikes!

March 22, 2013: Drove back from Ohio, had a nice visit with Rob at IU East on my way back! Got lunch at Thai Kitchen with Justin and his sweet electric van work project (drunken noodle extra hot, burnt my face off and it was great.) Tonight we met up with the Cadwells on the west side of town. We miss them so much!!

March 21, 2013: Left for Ohio at 6am, worked 10a-9p, settled into my hotel room with a Chimay to watch some NCAA basketball… made it 10 minutes before falling asleep with the lights and TV on. #tired

March 20, 2013: Getting lots of quality time with the girls lately.  Em’s current favorite book is TICKLE MONSTER, complete with blue monster gloves.  She was also ‘working like daddy’ today.  Annelise had her 4 month check-up. This evening we cashed in our babysitting card with Justin and Jordi and went to Hearthstone with Elliott and Tiffany! Fun night with all.

March 19, 2013: LIME TIME.

March 18, 2013: A new Tumi roller and an afternoon working by the fireplace. Great start to the week.

March 17, 2013: Our basketball team moved to 8-1 and has the #1 seed moving into the championships next week!  Not sure if I can still play when I’m 30 :)  Also got a nice fortune cookie tonight with our King Chef meal. Sounds like a plan!

March 16, 2013: Last day in Key West. Made the most of it with a trip to the beach in the AM, picnic for lunch and a trip to Fort Taylor before heading to the airport. Got home around 10pm, only 5 hours from Key West to home. Perfect!
