September 29, 2014: That moment when you know you shouldn’t spend $20 on something, but you can’t get past the thought of watching your girls run around in it :)

September 28, 2014: Day trip to STL to celebrate Jen’s Grandma’s 80th birthday!  It was a long day of 9 hours in the car, but worth every minute to be there with family celebrating the occasion.  

September 27, 2014: A visit from the W’s! We went to the apple orchard and hung out around the house. Such a nice, low-key day catching up with our dear friends.  And beautiful weather!! 

September 26, 2014: Meeting at Patachou for breakfast before working downtown! Yum.

September 25, 2014: The MetLife Blimp heard I was coming out of retirement and swung by the course.  Played 18 with Grant tonight and actually played pretty well! Strung together a few straight pars on the back 9.

September 24, 2014: Tumbling classes for Em and pulled pork for dinner! 19 hours on the smoker.  Absurdly delicious. 

September 23, 2014: School is in session! So cute.

September 22, 2014: Someone’s been picking their ouchie.

September 21, 2014: Dangling feet off the 20th floor.  Definitely a Daddy thing :)

September 20, 2014: We’ve had a fun time downtown for the conference, but it’s time to head home! Before that, a date night with my lady and the ending Conference Social at Dallara Racecar Factory. Very cool place! 

September 19, 2014: 5th Annual Fogo Feast at NACAC. One of my favorite events of the year. Good time nerding out with Soup too!  #middaymeatsweats

September 18, 2014: BowlFuego! We hosted an event for clients and friends tonight during NACAC. We had nearly 100 people come through for the event, and heard lots of great reviews about the evening.  It took a lot of work (and money! haha) to bring it all together but I think we put together a great event. Couldn’t have done it without all of my friends! So thankful for a community who jumps at an opportunity to help out.

September 17, 2014: Two deer old friends hanging out in our backyard this AM :)

NACAC starts today! Thankfully, this year it’s in Indy so I didn’t have to travel. Tonight was the Chegg event at Lucas Oil Stadium. Met Ronnie Lott, Coby Fleener, and snuck onto the field with Adam. Perfect evening to start the conference. 

September 16, 2014: Game night with the Chapmans! Grant got his name on the Wits and Wagers box, a pretty big feat around here.  I took the win in Tenzi and Alyssa brought home the championship in Expedite.  Next time, Jen :)

September 13, 2014: Gender Reveal Party! The guesses were pretty much split 50/50.  We created a puzzle game for our friends and family to find out the gender.  There were 9 clues that all led to a location, and at each location were 2 puzzle pieces and the next clue.  Teams were split to Blue/Pink based on their guess.  They took off to find all the clues/pieces, then brought them back to the dinner table to put the puzzle together and find out the gender! We were sneaky and wrote big, tall, skinny letters for the answer. (SHE!!!) It took a few moments for someone to realize that the answer was right there in front of everyone!
