November 30, 2013: And… we’re off!  We met Brett and Shelby at the airport early in the AM, had a quick 40 minute layover at ATL en route to San Juan, arriving around 2pm.  It was fun to treat the Cadwells to first class upgrades on our 3.5 hour flight ATL-SJU!  From there we dropped our bags off at the boat and went into Old San Juan.  We went to the fort…. and it absolutely poured rain.  Flooded the streets of Old San Juan.  I had never been stuck in rain like that before! No taxis to be found.  What an experience, no way we could have enjoyed it with the kids. Haha!

Hopped on the Celebrity Summit, our home for the next 7 nights.  Next stop, Barbados!

November 29, 2013: Dunkin’ Donuts and Christmas decorating! Leaving our girls tomorrow AM for a week… pretty excited. :)

November 28, 2013: If you know me, you know I’m a numbers guy (Do you play the license plate game?).  I love numbers. I don’t know how I missed this one.

I’m sure you’ve had today on your calendar since I posted my 1,000th blog on April 24, 2013. In it, I talk about some numbers in my life.  On my 10,000th day of life I started posting a photo a day.  It was my Dad’s 55th birthday.  If I post 10,000 days here, Emelyn will be the age I was when I started at day 1. 

Today is my 1,000th straight day of content. In that blog post, in the paragraph where I mention today, it completely slipped past me that the 1,000 consecutive day is the same day as the 6th anniversary of starting this blog.

Funny how numbers happen.

So many amazing memories in the past 1,000 days. Too many to count. I guess that’s why it’s nice that this little archive exists.  And the weird thing is… it just keeps getting better.

It’s impossible for me to go to http://whereisbradjward.com/archive, scroll a bit, and not get a huge smile on my face. If you love my friends and family like I do, the same might happen to you.

November 26, 2013: It was a Sprinkle-filled AM.  Did our 1 year pictures of A and our christmas card pics with Karissa, then they came with us to Chase to get our will signed and notarized, and from there it was off to Tijuana Flats for lunch, where Cameron talked Emelyn into getting a tattoo.  Peer pressure is the worst.

November 25, 2013: Some balllllerrrr chicken and dumplings from Jen tonight.  Will enjoyed getting his SodaStream on as a test run to the House Party. #SodaStreamCocktail

November 24, 2013: Oh, deer! Jen spotted 2 deer in our woods this afternoon, so we spent most of the day relaxing in the kitchen and watching them walk around, eating some honeysuckle here and there, and relax in our back yard. Happy to be a safe haven for them. :)

November 23, 2013: Busy, busy day!  7:30am guy’s breakfast, 9-11a small group training, over to the Michaels for the 4th Annual Noblesville Family Thanksgiving, then downtown with Billy and Kimberly for Wicked!   Em tried to catch snowflakes on her tongue somewhere in there :)  Whew, exhausted just typing that back out! 

November 22, 2013: Handmade Vintage Market, where we scored a 1972 toy plane for Emelyn.  Or maybe it was for me. Whatever.  Our SodaStream House Party Pack came today as well! $200 of free stuff, you know how I roll.

November 21, 2013: Double date with the SCHNEIDERSSSS (Indiana Tenderloin… yes.) followed by a quick cup of tea and dessert at Hearthstone with Jen!

November 20, 2013: Beer Scrabble with my brother from another mother!

November 19, 2013: Playdate with Emelyn! We went to the Parks and Rec Christmas Ornament program and made some out of clay, as well as a Christmas tree. I took her on a special date to “Onald Macdoggles”for lunch.  Precious time together.

November 18, 2013: Ohio Wesleyan. Go Bishops!

November 17, 2013: Crazy day, but well worth it!  We finished ‘The Story’ at church with a great message from Paul.  We had an impromptu lunch with the Sprinkles, which is nourishment for the soul.  In the afternoon the huge storm rolled through, but we were right in the middle of the storm to the north and south.  Sunshine and wind!  I had to drive to Ohio for work tomorrow AM so I hopped into the storm’s wind and cruised on over.  Beef jerky all the way.

November 16, 2013: We had our ‘You Are My Sunshine’ party for the girls’ birthdays. A ate her entire cupcake and the girls loved being surrounded by their family for the party! Such a fun day of celebration.
