July 31, 2013: A ridiculous sale at the Taylor Bookstore left me with some new swag.  A ridiculous deal at Office Depot left me with 22,500 United Miles.  Awesome day.

July 30, 2013: Re-did our ‘Money Frame’ today!  Went from a 12x36 to a 22x28 to accomodate new countries. Counting the coins there are over 30 countries represented!

July 29th, 2013: 7 years of wedded bliss with Jen! Happy Anniversary :)  Had a cookout tonight, some Kan Jam and a fire since it was soooooo cold out!

July 28, 2013: So great to get home and step right back into the community! Lucky to have lunch with all of these folks after church and before the Goeglein’s head back up to Michigan.  Wouldn’t be opposed to seeing them more often :)

July 27, 2013: Safe and smooth travels home.  Was able to give out a few first class upgrades and the Sky Priority perks came in handy for the entire team.  Walked in the door around midnight to a sign that Emelyn colored for me.  So good to be home. :)

July 26, 2013: Beach day.  3 hours of driving RT but it’s always neat to see other, ‘non-earthquake’ areas of Haiti and how they operate.  Relaxing day to decompress, reflect on the week, and prepare for re-entry to America.

July 25, 2013: Our last day of Camp with the students. It went way too fast.  Robensen, Marie-Ange, Ivnell, Marceldo, Fenelsonsonsonsonson… I’m gonna miss all of you. A lot. But I’ll be back.

Went to Onaville tonight and it was amazing to see the progress since I was here two years ago. Encouraging and incredible.

July 24th, 2013: So… last night Andrew, Cameron and I decided to sleep on the office roof.  The roosters crowed at 3:30am, the sunset wasn’t the best I’ve ever seen, but I had never slept under the stars before and it was a blast to do it with these 2 guys. I’ll never forget it!

Emelyn got to Facetime with Jean-Lucson today.  That was neat :)

Today we gave the students their final exam for English Camp. We’re here for the 4th of 4 weeks. After school, we went up a mountain to lookout over Haiti.  Terrific views.  Another amazing sunset tonight.  Here’s a silhouette shot with Cameron and Justin.

July 23, 2013: Day 2 of English Camp at NVM.  After camp we walked to Chambrun to spend some time with the kids at the children’s home. I can’t wait for the home on NVM’s campus to open up. It’s going to be spectacular for these kids.

July 22, 2013: First day of English camp! The kids are so much fun to be with.  Really enjoyed the classroom too.  Justin got started on some energy auditing, helped him into the late hours of the night.

July 21, 2013: Went to church in the AM and I got to meet Robenson! So glad we were able to connect. He said he’ll be at English Camp this week… awesome! Spent the rest of the day getting acclimated to the heat, unpacking, and preparing for tomorrow.  Life is goud.

July 20, 2012: Haiti! Left early this AM, quick layover at ATL and to Port-au-Prince by 1:30pm. So good to be back already seeing many signs of progress from 2 years ago.
