July 30, 2011: Busy day! Farmer’s Market, Bike ride (100mi total in July!), stopped by a “fun fly” to watch some helicopter hobbyists, packed for Haiti and then went to Flavor of Fishers!  

July 29, 2011: 5 year anniversary! Delicious dinner at Peterson’s.

July 28, 2011: Apparently watching me work is very boring, even in the bouncer.

July 27, 2011: Spent the morning volunteering at Faith, Hope & Love today. We chose the indoor activity since Em was with us, and helped pack nearly 10,000 more bags for Kids Against Hunger! 

July 26, 2011: Bella’s been doing some weird stuff to get attention around the house lately.

July 25, 2011: I’ve been home a full week, I think Em is itching to go somewhere with me. :)

July 24, 2011: “Dad, are you really going to let them instagram me?” We had a great time getting ice cream with (the) Sprinkles tonight! :)

July 19, 2011: “I repeat, the plane is NOT on fire.” It’s hot in Detroit, so the condensation in the air system got some people a bit excited on landing. :)

July 18, 2011: At the Starbucks where BlueFuego was born! Springfield, MA. Good memories here. :)

July 17, 2011: Helping pack a few of the 20,000 food bags going to Haiti and the local community at Genesis Church today!

July 16, 2011: Family Fun Weekend! Reservation for 15 at Scotty’s Brewhouse. It’s been a great day in downtown Indy.

July 15, 2011: Getting my typhoid oral vaccine started today. Haiti in 18 days!

July 14, 2011: Window seat for the flight home from Texas! So good to be home.

July 13, 2011: Last meal at Harold’s Pit BBQ in Abilene, TX.  This was one of the first places that my travels took me, back in April 2009. Lots of great memories here. The food is great and if you’re lucky, Harold would step from behind the counter to sing some hymns at lunch. Texas at its best.  Harold’s is closing on July 31 due to health issues, so I’m glad I was able to make it down one last time!

July 10, 2011: Officially unstoppable, as noted by the childproofing kit on the ottoman.

July 9, 2011: 10km bike ride followed by a swim at the pool with the girls and a backyard picnic. Great evening at home!

July 7, 2011: Got my passport back!! 48 new pages, much thicker now. 6 countries in 60 days coming up, time to get stamped!
