October 31, 2014: First full day in St. John! Did a little beach time and a little pool time.  The girls went trick-or-treating tonight as… beach bums? The Westin had several places set up for the girls to go, and they enjoyed it! 

October 30, 2014: Last day in Puerto Rico! Said goodbye to our incredible hotel room/view, packed up and caught the 18 minute flight to St. Thomas on Seaborne Airlines.  Then we got our car rental.  That sounds quick, but it took 90 minutes. Island time, they call it. :)   From there we bought groceries and caught the ferry over to St. John! You can only get to St. John via boat, and the island is 75% nature park… so it’s quite pristine. Excited to be back after our 1-day visit last December. Whoo hoo!

October 29, 2014: What a day!  Em and I have been doing a scavenger hunt around the resort and today we grabbed our final piece at the top of the hill on Palomino Island. It was a great view! Saw iguanas and did a little putt-putt as well.  Then during nap time Em and I went to the water park. She did EVERY slide! Very adventurous. 

October 28, 2014: Em found a nice little spot in paradise today :)  And the girls looked so cute in their dresses tonight! We brought them back from the markets in Mexico in July.  Adorbs.

October 27, 2014: Off to Fajardo! We’re staying at the Waldorf Astoria resort named El Conquistador and it’s amazing. I was here back in May and wanted to bring the family back.  We got upgraded to a 2-room suite with an incredible balcony and view. Going to soak it in for sure!  We found a gecko in our room last night, so the girls had fun looking at it before we moved it back outside!   Also, stuffed lobster.  Mmmmmm.

October 26, 2014: Off to Puerto Rico! Remixed an old photo of mine with the girls today in Old San Juan. Went to a local place for dinner and I had a crab-stuffed avocado with breadfruit.  YUM.  We also got a nice upgrade at the Hilton, but we’re only here 1 night before we head to the east coast of PR. Great first day of vacation! 

October 25, 2014: Family time in the AM and lunch on the Noblesville Square!  Today was my 1 day at home for yardwork in a month, which reinforced my decision to invest in a backpack leaf blower.  Capped off the night with a Sun King! 

October 24, 2014: Aerial work at IUPUI today and FNL at Indiana Wesleyan tonight! My brother in law Josh was a co-host and did a great job! 

October 23, 2014: Always good to get home to these two faces :)

October 22, 2014: Hartford to Reading, PA. I love sunset flights and window seats.

October 21, 2014: Quick hop up to Springfield, MA for the Basketball Hall of Fame before Cameron flew out, and then off to work for me in the afternoon. Beautiful day in Hartford! 

October 20, 2014: NYC with cameronsprinkle! Made a ridiculous over-my-head-tilt panorama at 30 Rock, explored the city, flatbilled it, Phantom on Broadway, and Times Square for the evening.  Awesome day with a great friend.

October 19, 2014: From one end of the spectrum to the other - woke up in the serene countryside in such a peaceful place… ended the day in Times Square.  Got to see my family in STL before hitting the airport, and got to the city late tonight.  Cameron flew in and we went to Hillsong NYC together - it was a great end to the weekend! 

October 18, 2014: Trout fishing in Steelville, MO with Jim and the brothers-in-law.  Such a relaxing place, and hey… I actually caught one! :)
