August 11, 2012: [Travel edition!] Woke up at 4am to head to Barbados. A quick hop to CLT, then 5 hours CLT-BGI. Tropical Depression SEVEN was rolling through during our scheduled landing time, so we spent some time doing figure 8’s before finally landing. Got to watch the storm roll through from about 15,000’.
Em did great (as always!) on the flight, no tears and no noise. She just loves flying and watching the other airplanes, the clouds… and yes, Nemo! Always nice to get scowling looks from your fellow first class passengers when you walk on with a kid, followed by glowing remarks at the end of the flight :)
