August 13, 2012: Our first full day together on vaca! Started the fort on Hilton’s property, where construction started in 1704. Lots of neat history around the resort! We spent most of the day playing in the ocean and sand. Lunch was at Cuz’s Fish Stand, which was phenomenal.We all ate for the same price as 1 meal at the Hilton, so I think we’ll be back a few more times. :) The sandwich is a pan-seared blue marlin, and it’s locally known and a worldwide favorite. It was such a good sandwich, we couldn’t even pull Em away from it long enough to get a picture!
After watching the sunset and getting some quick family pics, we enjoyed a seafood buffet. I got to try flying fish, which is a local catch here. Very, very tasty! Looking forward to another relaxing day tomorrow.
