August 2, 2011: Arrival in Haiti. We had some great memories through security, AA smashed my bag up, and one of our 22 bags didn’t arrive… but we made it! Very congested in Port-au-Prince. It took 1 hour to drive 6 miles from the airport. We saw our first view of the sprawling tent villages and then caught a beautiful sunset after arriving at NVM. We spent the night getting situated and preparing for tomorrow. Excited to see what we end up doing!
