August 30, 2011: A few things you need to know about Vanuatu.

  1. It’s situated on a fault line, and we’ve already felt 3 earthquakes! One as I got these pictures ready, a 5.3 magnitude. There’s also been a 5.0 and 5.1. But life moves on, no CNN breaking news interviews. In fact, we don’t even have a TV or phone here on the island. That’s awesome :)

  2. They are amazed to meet Americans, who are very rare to visit here. So you should come.

  3. It’s been named the “Happiest Place on Earth”.

  4. It’s home to one of the last primitive cultures, which has just been archived via 3D video.

  5. It’s been 6 hours, and it’s already one of the best places I’ve traveled to. The people, the food, the culture, the atmosphere, everything!! We could stay here for a few more weeks :)
