July 7, 2012: Last day in Illinois. Went out for a 4-wheeler ride, when mine decided to stop running in the middle of a floodplain. At noon. In 106F weather. I sweat more in that 10 minutes than in a long, long time. Luckily, Josh knew where to find some rope and is great with knots, so he tied me up and pulled me back.
Tara brought Em a purse back from Kenya, and she’s been wearing it all day!
We also said goodbye to GUM DOC today, a car that was passed down from Jen to her sisters. It was a good car to all. :)
