December 13, 2013: We were heading to Chicago so I could speak at a conference this weekend, and I conveniently forgot to mention the date to Jen… Friday the 13th.   It was 11 years ago, on  December 13, 2012, that we started dating.  She’s been so busy that it didn’t even cross her mind until she walked into our hotel room to see roses and a cake! 

We walked Michigan Ave a bit tonight, but the girls have really enjoyed just looking out at the city. We got upgraded to a top floor corner suite and they just sit in the windows, watching the world go by!
