October 10, 2013: Today’s our sightseeing day in Rome. We planned to do the ‘Caesar Shuffle’ from the Roman Forum to Colisseum over to Circus Maximus.  Rain put a bit of a damper on the AM.  We skipped C.M. and added in a few other stops along the way (although Em looked super cute with her mini Rome Cavalieri umbrella, haha!)  It was simply a fantastic day, walking through ruins from thousands of years ago!

One neat stop was Mamertine Prison, where Paul wrote 2 Timothy from in 67 AD. Wow!

Found a restaurant named after me, got some gelato in Piazza Navona, and threw a coin in Trevi Fountain to ensure that we will be back to Rome.
