Kenya has been amazing so far, but cell service drops every 30 seconds and data is $19.97/MB. Pics will resume when I get back on the grid Monday!

Just realized that WhereIsBradjward.com has been active for 1 year now! I opened my Tumblr account in 2007 but started using it on August 1, 2010. Since I’m a data nerd, here are some stats:

• I’ve posted a photo of the day for 167 straight days (Feb 15 - now)


• 5,145 visits since September 1, 2010


• 60% of traffic comes from Facebook, 3% from Twitter.


• Visitors have come from 36 countries and all 50 states.


• 32% of traffic comes from Illinois!


• I’ve visited 33 states and 7 countries since July 1, 2010.


• I’ve flown 173,670 miles since July 1, 2010. (7 times around the earth’s equator)

The next 60 days will take me across 6 countries and 10 states, covering 36,000 miles in the air. I’m excited to experience more sights and sounds of this wonderful world! Enjoy the journey with me.

Tomorrow.

In the next 24 hours I attempt the craziest mileage run of my life… 6 flights, 7 airports, 13,000 miles, 7 states, 2 countries, and 13 timezones. If my luggage makes it to Sydney with me I’ll be extremely impressed with Delta. The odds are against them. I’ve built 7 hours of layovers into my itinerary to be safe, no less than 55 mins each during the 5 stops. :)
