March 12, 2014: Jen’s 30th birthday has arrived!!! We celebrated with her parents, had some cake, and then it was off to the airport for us! Well.. not Indy’s airport… Chicago O’Hare. Our 8pm flight got cancelled at noon so we rented a car and drove up, which actually gave us another hour at home!  Tonight we boarded Turkish Airlines Flight #6, ORD-Istanbul.  This is one of TK’s very dated planes, so there’s a swanky bar up front of business class.  Very Pan-Am. :) We’re really impressed so far though, huge wine selection and there are actually chefs on board for our flight! Wow!  Here we go, next stop Istanbul!
