November 2, 2013: WHAT A DAY! Matt and I met up with 3 friends and took a boat ferry across the river to Dala.  We rented motorbikes, threw on some helmets, and took off down the countryside of Myanmar. We rode about 20 miles to Twante, and it was an eventful day for sure! We had an absolute blast, except for a few mechanical issues. But we were all safe, which was a huge answer to prayer :) The roads in Myanmar are like no other. Things that I dodged along the way included: cows, horses, pigs, goats, kids, buses, potholes, more potholes, puddles, rocks, absence of road, chickens, and probably a few other things I forgot along the way. Such a fantastic adventure.
