August 30, 2012: What a fun day! Drove over to Columbus for work, stopped by Richmond on the way back to surprise John for his birthday. Even sang a little tune for him :) Drove in to Ghyslain to grab some treats for the girls, and back home. Even got 5 hours of client calls in during my drive today! Awesome.
Also noticed on the interwebs that Butler Blue II and III were in Macomb, IL for the Battle of the Bulldogs tonight. Called up my man Blue II and told him he was 30 minutes from the best pizza in the world. And you know when a celebrity is coming to town, Rushville IL rolls out the red carpet! They even had ‘The Hoosier’ off the menu :) The editor/photographer of the Rushville Times stopped by for the photo op of America’s Dog, they had some pizza, and rolled back to WIU for the game. The only thing missing… was me. :(
