June 22, 2012: Arizona or bust! Kissed the little one goodbye, threw our bags in the car and hopped an early flight to Phoenix. We arrived around 1pm and went straight to the spa, where Jen enjoyed a massage. I enjoyed the saltwater pool, LiveStrong exercise bike (holy moly!) and the steam/sauna rooms. Nice start to the weekend! Our room wasn’t ready so we upgraded into a suite, which would have been great if Em was with us!
We had our first conference sessions that wrapped up at 9:30pm (12:30am home time), so we were pretty much exhausted by then. But… we thought we were only 2 hours behind, so we went to the bar for our daily free drinks and by the time we got to bed it had been a 20+ hour day for us. We slept great!
