August 22, 2010: I am Scuba Diving at the Great Barrier Reef! This sea turtle was awesome.

August 21, 2010: I am in Cairns, Australia! Fireworks for an Aboriginal Festival.

August 21, 2010: I am in Sydney, Australia for the morning! This is the iconic Sydney Opera House.

August 20, 2010: I am 39,000 ft above the Pacific Ocean, somewhere near Fiji.

August 19, 2010: I’m in Los Angeles, CA and enjoying a shower in the Delta Sky Club. Diamond Medallion Perks FTW.

August 19, 2010: I am in Salt Lake City, UT. I got a “mom lecture” about this trip and my luggage after Delta sent my bag straight to SLC from STL. :)

August 19, 2010: I am in Bismarck, ND! 20 minute layover, but there are only 4 gates here. The run continues.

DELAY. Will have 15-20 minutes to make next flight, or my worst fear comes true…. Stuck in Bismarck tonight. At least I know I’m on the right plane. :)

August 19, 2010: I am in Minneapolis, MN, where Favre is the talk of the town today! Arrived Gate C11, departing C17 in 72 minutes.

August 19, 2010: I’m in Detroit, MI. Landed at Gate A17, leaving from Gate A12 in 50 minutes. Seamless so far!

August 19, 2010: Checking in for my flight in St. Louis, MO! “This is the most ridiculous itinerary I’ve ever seen. You’ll have to re-check in at Bismarck because it’s too early for me to check you in. And in Salt Lake City, you’ll have to get your bag off the carousel and re-check, I can’t tag your bag for more than 4 flights. Man…. Good luck.”

In the next 24 hours I attempt the craziest mileage run of my life… 6 flights, 7 airports, 13,000 miles, 7 states, 2 countries, and 13 timezones. If my luggage makes it to Sydney with me I’ll be extremely impressed with Delta. The odds are against them. I’ve built 7 hours of layovers into my itinerary to be safe, no less than 55 mins each during the 5 stops. :)

August 17, 2010: We are in Fishers, IN at a Baby Ward checkup. Jen had to give blood (which explains this face!) The Dr. called Jen “my model patient”. Everything is right on track!

August 16, 2010: I’m in Detroit, MI and eating a Peanut Butter, Jelly, Honey and Bacon sandwich for supper. Delicious. :)

August 13, 2010: DQ with Jen to celebrate the first week of school, a great week of business, and our 92nd month of dating. :)

August 12, 2010: I’m working from Tom Wood Volvo today while my vehicle gets serviced. Indianapolis, IN!

August 11, 2010: I received a large package at BlueFuego HQ’s today. You will see more about this when I travel next Wednesday. :)

August 8, 2010: We are at church in Noblesville, IN. When they said we were going to celebrate 24 baptisms today… They meant it!! :)
