October 10, 2014: Planes, trains and automobiles… sort of.

Our flight home from MHT was delayed as of 7am, so I called United to switch to Delta nonstop from BOS. They said they couldn’t change our airport, but put us on a Delta MHT-DTW-IND flight. Got to airport, it was oversold. So we each took a $400 voucher and flipped to flight through ATL. As soon as we rebooked, that flight got delayed. So the ticket agent put us in a cab from New Hampshire to Boston to…. catch the nonstop I asked for at 7am today.  So we ended up with 3 hours in Boston, some clam chowdah for dinner, and first class tickets home. Oh, and $800 of Delta vouchers.  Booyah.

October 9, 2014: Could this week get any better?  Merrimack College today, and a double date in Chinatown this evening. They weren’t talkative.

October 8, 2014: Nice drone day.  Sunrise at Siena College, afternoon at Trinity, early evening over a beautiful pond, and sunset at WPI.  So much foliage.
