May 7, 2014: Today the parents got to go to the final tumbling class. It was so fun to watch Em go through her routine! She’s a natural, haha!

May 6, 2014: Tulips have bloomed at the girls’ house!

May 5, 2014: Grandma and Grandpa Davis stopped by today on their way through Indiana! The girls were so happy to see them and loved their new dresses!  They also brought a bear and elephant (Em’s fav!) which were big hits. So good to have some time together today!

May 4, 2014: Church in Carmel to hear Cameron’s message (again :P ) and then lunch with the Knuths! We sure do miss having them on this side of town!

May 3, 2014: Travel day! Left at 10am, home at 10pm.  We sure love us some bulkhead :)

May 2, 2014: After working in the AM I went to the San Diego Zoo to meet up with the family.  Highlight was seeing the pandas actually awake and active! Very cool.     Went planespotting at the San Diego Airport with Cameron this afternoon. We went to a parking garage that’s right on the landing path.  It was spectacular :)   Cameron and Karissa were kind enough to offer us a date night so we went to TestKitchen in Little Italy for dinner, then brought back dessert for everyone.  So sad to be leaving SD tomorrow. What a great trip!

May 1, 2014: Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.  Torrey Pines State Park.  We could have spent all week here.  Incredible views, low-key vibe. We soaked it up!   Went to Stone Brewery tonight with Chris and Peter to talk about our presentation for tomorrow and catch up on life.  I got to experience Pliny the Elder on draft, which I am told is rated one of the best beers. Ever.  And yes, it was delicious. 

Moved hotels so I could be downtown for the conference. Got a #sweetsuite upgrade… spiral staircase?!
