August 7, 2013:  Guy’s night!  I brought back some Sprecher Hard Root Beer and Jayson had some Hendrick’s. Great stuff.  Sega + Foosball all night.  #winning

August 6, 2013: The 4 hour drive back home went fantastic, a picnic at a rest stop on the way, and straight to IUPUI for me to work tonight.  Good to be home!

August 5, 2013: Rule #12 for traveling with kids: Bring a hammer and nails to create your own blacked out sleeping heaven.  Sun = awake kids = not a vacation.   

Spent some final moments at the water park today.  Annelise fell asleep in the swing for the 2nd or 3rd day in a row. So cute :)

I gave my presentation at the Grand Geneva and it went really, really well. I was honored to be asked back.  We came here last year.   Look how little Emelyn was!  

August 4, 2013: Water park all day, arcade all night.  Dinner in town, Em got a balloon and enjoyed every moment with it. :)

August 3, 2013: Another great day in Lake Geneva! We’re staying at a hotel with a 50,000 sqft indoor waterpark.  Emelyn is having an absolute blast. Tonight we went to Sprecher’s for dinner, home of the best root beer ever.  The beer’s not bad either :)   Story time and milk/cookies for Em and then we called it a day!

August 2, 2013: To Wisconsin we go! Took a ~2 hour pitstop at Fair Oaks Farms and had lunch there.  Finally got to Lake Geneva around 5pm. Grabbed some Nueske’s Bacon, because when in Rome…

August 1, 2013: Cameron came over to shoot a few interview clips for a Haiti video.  I can’t wait to see how it turns out. I know it will be amazing :)

Jen had dinner with a friend tonight so I took the girls to Flowing Well Park and then we came home and built a fort with a box in the garage. Good times with the little ones!
