September 8, 2012: Farmer’s Market in AM, followed by yard work and a quick nap with Bella. Took the girls to Handel’s tonight, where Em destroyed a chocolate covered banana to commemorate the ending of summer. And for bath night, we went rave style with glow sticks. Fun day!
September 5, 2012: Walked out to get the mail and ended up pulling ‘creeping charlie’ for 2+ hours. Was starting to choke out what was left of the grass that hadn’t gone dormant during the drought. Spent the night hanging around the house and playing with Em and her friend. Good to be home with travel season right around the corner!
September 3, 2012: Labor Day! We went to the Indie Arts and Vintage Marketplace in the AM, thankfully the rain held off long enough for us to browse around. Found a few neat things, and a lot of junk. The sun finally came out before the end of the day, so we got a quick walk in before closing the books on the weekend. It was also fun to reminisce about Labor Day 2007, when I spent 4 days in the hospital! 5 years. Wow.
Emelyn also had the biggest sneeze of her life today. Disgusting. 2 pics so @tsand doesn’t think I photoshopped it.
September 2, 2012: Heard a great sermon at Church to end the series, followed up with some Firehouse Subs. During nap time the girls did nails while the guys went to Fry’s Electronics. Tossed some brats on the grill, B and Jake stopped by on their way through Indiana, and then the siblings headed off while Grandma and Grandpa stayed for 1 more night! Looking forward to having tomorrow off. :)
